Ok, so it sounds weird.... there is a reason. Yesterday, as I was getting ready for work I had the strangest phonecall that I have ever had before. It went something like.

"Claire."
"Mmm?"
"When you go to work, head towards the school, DO NOT actually go into the hotel, or near the grounds."
"Huh?"
"The builders found some Incinatary Devices under the pub."
"Ok, what?"
"They were digging under the front of the pub, to set the patio, and they found some 'bombs' left by the home guard in World War Two."
(silence, as in shock)
"So head to the school, and tell James and Chris, because I cant get hold of them."

So, instead of starting work at 2.30, I was sat at the school, with wedding guests, and staff, bored out of our skulls. They blew up the first batch at 4.30, but we werent allowed back until 7. The poor bride had to be told that her wedding was cancelled.

This was only my 3rd shift, since being back at work! And I was complaining that everything exciting happens when Im away on holiday....
